CARE, LLC has partnered with Teeside University to bring an exciting course aimed at the Critical Care Nursing Practitioner who wants to advance their knowledge in Cardiac Surgical Critical Care aiming to become an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or increase their seniority and responsibility in the multi-disciplinary workforce.

The module will be run 4 times yearly (the first beginning on September 8^th, 2021). The module has 50 lectures in it and there are 300 questions placed through the eLearning to hone your skills. !0 weeks after the start of the course there will be a 3-hour online exam made up of 25 clinically based MCQs AND 3 essay questions (of 1250 words each) aimed at testing your clinical knowledge gleaned from the eLearning course.

Successful candidates will be awarded 20 Credits at Level 7 and will be notified (by email) within 2 weeks of sitting the examination.

The cost of the course is £850.

Once you have determined that you are eligible for the course and have paid for it select BEGIN and you will be redirected to the Teeside University Enrollment site. Having enrolled you will be connected back to our website learning management system to ‘do the course’. The date for the final exam will be given to you on enrolment at the Teeside University website as will all terms and conditions for study online via Teeside University. Furthermore, at the enrolment site there will be access to extra online resources to help in maximising the educational opportunities of the course . There is a microblog site at ww.csu-als.org which will allow you to ask questions of senior practitioners about the course content and help you if you have any difficulties with the ‘nuts and bolts’ of viewing the course and doing the in course 300 questions.
